Late in 2008 we started volunteering, walking dogs, and searching for blankets to help keep all the dogs warm (it gets chilly in the high desert). The people there are great and the dogs deserve every chance at living a safe and happy life. Unfortunately times are tight and so are donations. VRC needs to raise money to keep the shelter open and to continue caring for the 200+ dogs that depend on them.
